The New Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Trailer

The News About FS 2020

It seems that 2020, 10 years after the iconic FSX, will mark the return of a Microsoft flight simulator. In the past days the official trailer of what will be the 2020 Microsoft flight simulator was launched.

My History with MS FS

For those who also tried it out, you must remember the unforgettable game launch at Chicago Meigs airfield. I was blown away by that experience with the FS95. So you can only imagine how I feel looking at the trailer of the new 2020 Microsoft flight simulator.
Flight Simulator 95 Instructions

I remember first trying it out and being amazed by it. I was pretty good at it considering I was only 5 years old. Also back then the game came along with a pretty hefty instructions book which explained in detail every aspect of each aircraft featured in the simulator. I read those pages almost till I knew the content off by heart.

Finally FSX’s Successor?

The graphics of both terrain and clouds are simply amazing. It looks like this will truly be FSX’s successor and not a MS Flight arcade style game.
Professional Flight Simulator

So far we know a couple of things about the simulator. First that it’ll be launched for both PC and Xbox. Which makes me wonder what will the console version be like? Will it be a light version or a full version with the possibility of buying add-ons. Just as I’m share will be possible for the computer version.

Which Aircrafts Did We See So Far?

We also know a little about the aircraft that will be included as standard in the package. In the trailer the most interesting aircrafts we saw: an A320 neo, a 747-8, a 737, an ultralight American made Icon A5, a single prop TBM 930 and of course the iconic Cessna which has been present since FS 95 in its 152 model.

I honestly can wait to see more footage about the simulator and if it keeps looking as good as it has until now I’ll be gearing up for its release.
