OneWorld Alliance’s First Ever Branded Lounge at Seoul Incheon Airport

In a significant development for global travelers, the OneWorld Alliance has unveiled its first-ever branded airport lounge, marking a new chapter in the alliance’s illustrious journey. Nestled in the bustling hub of Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN), this lounge embodies the spirit of connectivity OneWorld was founded upon. With an emphasis on providing a harmonious and elevated travel experience to users, this initiative is set against the backdrop of OneWorld’s 25th anniversary.

Exclusive Access for OneWorld Elite Members and Premium Passengers

The OneWorld lounge extends its hospitality primarily to Emerald and Sapphire members of the OneWorld frequent flyer program, as well as passengers flying First or Business Class with the alliance’s airlines. This delineation ensures a bespoke experience, tailored to the discerning expectations of frequent flyers.

Operational support for both the creation and the running of the lounge is provided by Swissport. The group has extensive experience in the field managing a vast number of high end airport lounges across the globe.

Where Is The Lounge Located?

OneWorld’s first ever branded lounge is located in Seoul Incheon’s Terminal 1. This is no surprise as Terminal 2 sees exclusively flights from Korean Air and other SkyTeam airlines. All other airlines, including those from OneWorld, operate from Terminal 1.

The attention to detail in the setup of the lounge is seen even in its carefully selected location. The lounge is situated conveniently close to all OneWorld habitual departure gates. Therefore passengers will never have to walk more than 10 minutes from the lounge to any of the departure gates.

A Sanctuary of Tranquillity At Seoul Incheon for 148 Travellers

Open daily from 7:30 AM to 11:45 PM, the lounge can accommodate up to 148 passengers at a time, offering a serene retreat from the airport’s frenetic pace. Spanning 555 square meters, the space is designed to balance opulence with practicality, providing an oasis where travelers can recharge.

The Seoul Incheon lounge is not just another addition to the global network of lounges but a statement of OneWorld’s heritage, coinciding with the alliance’s 25th-anniversary celebrations.

Passengers on Which Airlines can Access The New Lounge?

Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, Finnair, Qantas, and SriLankan Airlines. These are the 7 OneWorld airlines that serve Seoul Incheon Airport currently. Therefore passengers travelling in premium cabins with these airlines get access to the lounge.

The opening of this lounge at ICN is a deliberate choice, celebrating OneWorld’s milestone anniversary and reflecting its growth strategy. Seoul’s geographical location and economic significance make it a pivotal point in OneWorld’s network.
