Emirates Adds New Dubai London Heathrow Flight For Winter 2023

Emirates is the largest provider of airline seats for travellers from the UK to the middle east. However the number of flights the middle eastern airline offers between London and Dubai is only going to increase. EK will be launching an additional service on the Dubai to London route for winter of 2023.

Emirates New Dubai to London Heathrow Flight EK41

As mentioned above Emirates will launch an additional service to London Heathrow airport (LHR). The new flight will have number EK41 and for the time being it will be just a seasonal addition. EK will add this new service from October 31st 2023 and it’ll be part of the network until March 30th.

EK41 will operate with a five times per frequency, offering flights every:

  • Tuesday
  • Wednesday
  • Thursday
  • Friday
  • Saturday

The reason for adding this new service is so that the carrier will be able to better cope with the rise of passengers in the winter holiday season. Winter 2023 could be quite a busy one for airlines as air travel demand is on a continuously rising trajectory.

The Plane For the New EK41 Dubai to London Heathrow Flight

The new EK41 service will differ from the other flights on this sector as it won’t be an A380 flight. Instead this new flight will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER in a 3 class configuration. This plane type features:

  • 8 First Class Seats in a 1-2-1 layout
  • 42 Business Class Seats in a 2-3-2 layout
  • 306/304/310 Economy Class Seats in a 3-4-3 layout

It must be noted that the Emirates Business class on the Boeing 777-300ER isn’t the most comfortable out there. The dense configuration means that not all seats have direct aisle access. Window seats and central seats will have to get past the neighbouring passenger to get to the corridor.

So if you have the chance and you’re flying business class, book yourself on an A380 service instead.

  • EK1
  • EK3
  • EK5
  • EK7
  • EK29
  • EK31

All these flights are operated using the mighty Airbus A380. Once EK41 takes off there will be:

  • 47 Weekly flights on the DXB-LHR sector
  • 3200+ Daily available seats
  • 22000+ Weekly available seats

A truly stunning number.
