All is set for Ryanair to further strengthen its position and role at London Stansted Airport in the coming summer. Stansted is Ryanair’s legacy base an arguably its biggest and busiest hub. Nonetheless the Irish carrier is set to further increase flights from its hub in London Stansted Airport the coming summer. Ryanair will introduce new domestic and international flights. Here’s where to.
The New Ryanair Flights From Stansted
The Irish budget carrier will increase its flights from the north London airport, to be precise there will be 6 new destinations. All 6 these destinations will be, at least initially, seasonal. They will be part of the FR network only, as far as we know, for the summer 2023 season.
The new destination that will become part of the Ryanair network from London Stansted are:
- Edinburgh (UK)
- Belfast (UK)
- Asturias (Spain)
- Leipzig (Germany)
- Cornwall (UK)
- Klagenfurt (Austria)
The Flight Frequency
The 6 new destination additions to Stansted will not however share the frequency of flights. They will be served in different ways. Specifically here’s how often Ryanair will fly to these new Stansted destinations:
- Edinburgh – 3 Times a day
- Belfast – 2 Times a day
- Asturias – 3 Times a week
- Leipzig – 3 Times a week
- Cornwall – 3 Times a week
- Klagenfurt – 2 Times a day
Clearly domestic destinations will be the ones to have the biggest power up in summer 2023.
What Ryan Foresees for Summer 2023
Ryanair plans to have 57 planes based at London Stansted Airport in Summer 2023. This will allow the airline to fly in excess of 180 routes with 3,000 weekly flights. A 10% increase over what the carrier achieved in summer of 2022.
Along with these new destinations, Ryanair will also be increasing capacity to many popular holiday destinations in southern Europe to cater to the needs of travellers looking to get a break from life in London.
