Until project sunrise takes off Perth international airport (PER) will cover a very important role for Qantas’ international network. The west Australian airport has been used in past years as the gateway to and from Europe for QF flights. At the moment the airport is served by a year round service to London Heathrow and a seasonal flight to Rome Fiumicino. However a new European flight is soon coming in 2024.
Qantas New Perth to Paris Flight
Qantas will be serving non stop direct flight to 3 European major cities in 2024. Along with the already standing services to London Heathrow (LHR) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO) a new service to Paris CDG is coming.
Flight QF33 will start serving the route on July 12th 2024. Paris is not a randomly chosen destination in any way. In fact 2024 will see the French capital host the Olympic Games in August. So as you might have guessed by now the flight aims to intercept the higher influx of passengers that will be visiting the city for both tourism and the sporting event.
QF33 Perth to Paris Flight Schedule
The flights will start off with a 4 times weekly schedule during the peak summer seasonality. The initial schedule will se flights operate the QF33 service every:
- Monday
- Wednesday
- Friday
- Sunday
Starting mid August though flights will be reduce to 3 weekly. With the timing of this new service as follows:

The Plane For Qantas Perth to Paris QF33 Flight
As is the case for the other Perth to Europe direct flights Qantas will be operating the flight with its Boeing 787-9. This has been the go to aircraft for the Aussie carrier in these Perth to Europe operations. The plane is configured with a 3 class cabin featuring:
- 42 Business Class Seats in a 1-2-1 layout
- 28 Premium Economy Seats 2-3-2 layout
- 166 Economy Class Seats in a 3-3-3 layout
Keep in mind that the Business class seats are staggered, which means that odd rows have seats closer to the window and even ones further away.
