Airlines are the beating heart of aviation. They are the ones bringing the action to the scene with news and updates rolling out day in and day out.

Operations vary significantly between an airline and another as their home countries and geographic positions have different requirements and offer different opportunities from one and other.

So I'll do my best to keep you always updated on the latest and most important news coming from the world of aviation, in particular from airlines across the planet.

European Airlines News

Some of the oldest legacy airlines call Europe their home. They are some of the big names in aviation such as British Airways, Lufthansa, KLM or Air France.

However Europe is also home to a thriving budget and low cost airline industry. Some of the largest low cost airlines also operate on the continent. Just think of RyanAir, EasyJet and WizzAir.

Below you'll find all the latest most important news and insights from these European airlines.

Middle Eastern Airline News and Insights

Over the past 30 years the new boys on the block have been the middle eastern airlines. The likes of Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways have revolutionised the way we travel across the world.

These are airlines that taking advantage of their strategic position, half way between east and west, have developed into real giants of the aviation industry.

They have also innovated like no other airlines before them raising the bar of customer service and in flight service in all cabins.

Asian Airline News and Insights

Personally some of my favourite airlines are based in Asia. The region is home to a vast variety of different type of carriers. Legacy airlines, low cost carriers, long haul budget airlines. This makes for a buzzing environment that has news and insights to analyse on a daily basis.

Australian and New Zealand Airline News and Insights

Due to their unique location and geographic conformation, Australia and New Zealand are home to a very interesting aviation market. Operations of carriers in the region vary from short hops to some of the longest flights in aviation history.

There is much news of new routes opening and plane deliveries from Australia and New Zealand's airlines along with some truly unique experiments such as project sunrise.
